Xiaomi has presented a patent for a smartphone that can be moved apart from both sides. The document was seen on the Internet relatively recently.

The new device visually has a classic rectangular design. However, upon closer inspection, a curling screen is revealed. The latter disappears inside the case. Twisting takes place on the right and left, if necessary.

According to the developers, the screen is suitable for those who like to watch videos. This is especially true for the functionality of the tablet. When sliding the "flaps" the smartphone should be transformed into its large-sized counterpart.

From the patent photographs, there should be a modular camera on the back of the device. The components of the latter should be located vertically in the central part of the body.

As for the front camera, it is currently unclear where it will be mounted. Most likely, the place for the front camera will be behind a flexible display. It is also assumed that the screen will be unlocked using a fingerprint. The touchscreen will be installed in the display area.

There is no information on the timing of the project on the official website of the company. Probably, information on this will appear towards the end of the year.

The desire to implement even the craziest innovations is associated with the information race between large corporations. Xiaomi is trying to keep up with the times.

In the section "Phones, smartphones" of the OXO website there are more than 1.5 thousand lots, including Xiaomi smartphones. It remains to go to this section and make your choice.
