The largest building, which has now become an astronomical museum, was built in Shanghai. The authorship of the project belongs to the architectural bureau Ennead Architects.

The total area of ​​the facility is approximately 39,000 feet. It is also noteworthy that it has no straight and sharp corners. The available exhibits will be divided into three thematic areas - home, space, history. These thematic blocks are accompanied by the presence of certain architectural components - a sphere, an inverted dome and an all-seeing eye.

In the sphere there is a theater, which simultaneously plays the role of a planetarium. Visitors are invited to be in the hall not only sitting, but also lying down.

The inverted dome serves as the culmination object. From this part of the building, viewers can enjoy the beauty of the starry sky.

The oculus's job is to track the solar circle. At noon, the museum forms a solar circle right in the center of the main hall.

The architects of the design bureau were faced with the task of creating an astronomically verified object. After much deliberation and careful calculations, the project was approved.

The construction of the building took place throughout the year. The specialists tried to carry out the planned work according to the plan approved by the design bureau.

Today, the Astronomical Museum is already receiving visitors, introducing them to life in space. Scientists from different countries come here quite often.
