Geely will transfer part of the production from England to China

The Chinese company Geely plans to open a new plant in Wuhan, where Lotus cars will be produced. The company, which invested $ 1.3 billion, will be able to collect 150 thousand cars a year. The date of opening of the plant is still unknown, but Geely is already recruiting specialists for further work.

Today Lotus comes off the Assembly line in England. In this country will remain part of the production – there will continue to collect new items. In the near future, the company will receive another $ 2 billion for development. Lotus is conceived as the main competitor of Porsche, in particular, SUVs of the company.
