The guitar from unusual materials was created by the musician and youtuber Burls Art. It took 14 old skateboards for the deck and neck of the instrument.

The guitar has got a classic look. It's about the shape of the deck and neck. However, its coloring involuntarily suggests that the material was not just wood. Multi-colored stains, combinations of stripes, circles and squares.

To create a musical instrument, the blogger needed 14 old skateboards, which for various reasons were no longer used for their intended purpose. Wheels were cut from them, metal fasteners were removed. All boards are glued together under pressure.

A solid block of glued skateboards was divided into blocks, which served as blanks for the panels for turning the deck and neck. After sawing and polishing, all the parts were joined together. The guitarist has equipped the neck with a truss rod, traditional for electric guitars, which helps to regulate the deflection.

For a presentable appearance, the musical instrument was covered with a layer of varnish. Most importantly, Burls Art did it after polishing.

When the guitar was dry, the guy pulled on the strings and installed all the metal and electronic parts. The output came out pretty good.

Judging by the video that youtuber uploaded to the network literally immediately after creating his guitar, the instrument is on full alert.

Acoustic and electric guitars, accordions, violins, synthesizers, as well as other musical instruments are exhibited almost every day in the section of the same name on the OXO website.
