Holiday home on the coast - a new project by Greek designers

The sloping house was created by experts from the architectural bureau Mold Architects. The three-story building is practically invisible among the mountains.

Visually, this is a structure disguised by natural landscapes, which is conventionally divided into three blocks - floors. Each of them seems to be carved into the mountain and "hidden" by the inclined trim.

The architects took the surface of the slope as a basis and carved out separate rooms in it, which were later formed into floors and rooms. Windows and balconies also have hinged elements - a continuation of the inclined texture of the mountain slope.

Initially, the project was developed to protect future residents of the house from strong coastal winds. But later it was adapted into a three-story living space of 360 sq. meters. A space where there is everything for a comfortable life.

The interior of the room is natural and laconic. For decoration, the texture of wood is used, which is complemented by stone trim. The walls, ceilings and partially floors are decorated with wooden stripes.

The authors of the project have not forgotten about glass either. They used this material for the transparent panels that separate parts of the rooms. Such zoning made it possible to visually delimit the house, but not overload it.

With all the minimalism of the space, the rooms look cozy and functional - built-in furniture, household appliances and electronics.
