British eyewear company Cubitts has announced an app to help you find the perfect frame.

To carry out the procedure for the selection of glasses, you must download a special application on your smartphone. Using 3D technology, the user's face is scanned and frames are selected from existing models in Cubitts.

The application analyzes the width of the frame to see if it matches the width of the face. Glasses do not lean in any direction, do not fall on the nose. Whether the center of the lenses is aligned with the pupils.

The recognition technology works with some of the latest iPhone models. Starting with the tenth version and with other later versions.
The person scans his face, then looks at the resulting picture from all sides. And only after that the application "puts on" glasses on it.

According to the company’s research, only about 20% of the country's population chooses glasses correctly. Moreover, 70% consider the selected frame option satisfactory. Although the purchase of glasses is often carried out in specialized centers.

In the future, this application can be used for purchases made by users on the Internet. So you can predict with a high probability which model is more suitable for a particular buyer. And not only from the side of ergonomics, but also aesthetics.

Users of the OXO website are familiar with more traditional ways of trying on and buying glasses. In the section "Accessories (glasses, belts, etc.)" you can find the required lot, examine it from all sides and place a bet.
