The original architectural structure is located in the office center, which is owned by the Danish design studio 3XN. The fancy staircase isn't just a way to reach the upper floors. It is an excellent tool for maintaining good physical shape and good health.

Where is the connection? -you ask? Researchers have shown that constant walking up and down stairs can reduce deaths from cardiovascular disease by 12 to 20%. Kim Herforth Nilsson (3XN Lead Designer) analyzed which staircase would best fit the center. The architect designed the staircase to resemble a podium.

Intricate spans with curls connect the ornate shapes of the stairs. The design looks aesthetically pleasing and organic. But when creating the project, Kim Herforth Nilsson first of all thought not about a beautiful appearance, but about its usefulness. The author wanted to ensure that the staircase contributes to the well-being of all employees and visitors to the center.

Not every staircase has such a pretentious and complex structure. Some of its elements look most advantageous in the rays of daylight. Others open up interestingly in blackout zones.

Visitors' eyes are attracted by each figured structural element. Looking at the structure, one immediately wants to walk up the steps, even if the original purpose of visiting the studio was different.

It is possible to bring something like this to life, albeit not on such a large scale, with your own efforts. Everything you need for construction is in the section "Tools and equipment".
