The folding screen smartphone was unveiled by the Chinese company OPPO last year. OXO decided to remember what users remember about such a gadget.

A special screen was installed in the device, which can be pulled out and thereby increase the usable space. And to give it rigidity, the developers covered it with a special reinforcing layer, only 0.1 mm thick.

When creating the gadget, the company received 122 patents. She had to develop a new design with a miniature motor and roller. The essence of its work lies in the fact that when unfolded, the surface of the screen is flat and rigid. Rolled up - in a reduced format and resembles a classic smartphone.

OPPO stated that the transformer design allows you to adapt the device for different needs - watching videos, conducting correspondence, playing games, using the camera, editing content.

A year ago, there was a minimum of information about the device. Short video review, sketchy phrases about technical specifications. It is not even known that such a device will appear on the shelves.

Today, the Chinese company continues to sell its flagship models. However, last year's new product with a folding screen did not appear on sale.

You can search for OPPO products on the OXO website in the section "Phones, smartphones". Among more than 1.5 lots, you can find not only devices from a Chinese manufacturer, but also components for them - headphones, chargers, memory cards.
