The beach cleaning robot was developed by the international French company Poralu Marine. The device is being tested on the beaches of Florida.

Outwardly, it is a small radio-controlled tracked structure. However, in addition to controlling a person from a distance of 300 m, it can move with the help of solar energy. The essence of his work is to sift the soil and at the same time minimize the impact on existing ecosystems.

Devices that are sharpened for cleaning the territory, together with garbage, often destroy vegetation, sometimes even affect the nests or burrows of coastal residents. But this robot is pretty selective.

Moving on a sandy, clay or soil surface, he examines it for small debris - cigarette butts, tin lids, food wrappers or polyethylene. Deepens 10 cm downward for a more detailed study of the surface.

It takes the device about an hour to survey and clear an area of up to 3000 m². And thanks to the track system, it can turn on the spot, go around objects for better cleaning of the territory.

According to the creators of the robot, it can be used not only for cleaning beaches. The scope of activity can extend to nature reserves, golf courses, sports stadiums.

After being tested on Florida beaches, the robot is transported to Hawaii.
