Paper carving is a hobby of Pippa Dirlagi, an Englishwoman of Korean origin. The girl's works are an example of a combination of jewelry precision and graphic skill.
The Englishwoman depicts plants, animals, abstract patterns, mythical scenes and characters on paper. Finished products often look like real works of art that can be studied for hours.
In her work, the girl uses paper and a scalpel. At first, Pippa Dirlaga carved her designs exclusively on white paper, but now she weaves color into the image. The Englishwoman does this in two ways - she glues the paper and then begins to cut, cuts in white and gradually tightens the individual colored elements.
It happens that Pippa Dierlag's finished works are placed on colored cardboard and decorated with flowers, stones and sparkles. So they resemble real paintings.
The work of the Englishwoman is incredibly accurate and skillful. When you pick up one of the carved paper art objects, it seems that just a little bit more and it will take off. Sculptures react to the slightest breeze. So gentle, transparent.
You can see the carvings of Pippa Dirlaga on social networks and on her website. There, the girl shows photographs of finished products, videos of the manufacturing process. He often conducts workshops on paper carving.
