The old Apple technique has been transformed into flower pots and flowerpots by the Paris-based artist Christophe Guinet. These are not only unique art objects, but also items for everyday use.

Among the decor items created by the artist, laptops, computers, and system units were used. Many of them were created decades ago, and continued to work for quite some time. And after the final failure, the technique turned into a decor.

It takes the master about three days to create one pot or flowerpot. First, Christophe Guinet chooses a device that will become an art object. Then he carries out its partial dismantling.

Filling with a drainage layer and earth is preceded by an isolation procedure. For this, an adhesive film is used that covers all internal joints.

After the preparatory work, Christophe Guinet proceeds to planting plants. In this matter, he goes along one of two paths - planting sprouts or transplanting "adult" plants. In the case of the latter, the Frenchman prefers succulents. These "compact" flowers fit very organically into the architecture of technical facilities.

The artist has repeatedly noticed that people spend a long time near computers. And the presence of plants nearby can speed up the work and make it easier.

To make one of these art objects and place it near your desktop, you can use any non-working device. But in any case, you cannot do without tools and seedlings. And it can be purchased in the OXO section "Garden, vegetable garden".
