Floating and revolving - new eco-friendly hotel in Qatar

The Turkish company HAADS has presented a project of a floating hotel to be installed on the coast of Qatar. The eco-design will rotate around its axis at a rate of once a day.

At the heart of the floating structure are several floating platforms, driven by propeller-driven engines. And this movement will be controlled by the dynamic positioning system used for cruise ships during their stay on a given course.

The architects are planning to build a special road as a connection to the shore. One of its sides will be mounted to the movable platform with a series of fasteners. The road will be equipped with a helipad and berths for water transport. Presumably these will be light ships.

The total area of ​​the eco-hotel is about 35 thousand square meters. Visually, the main room will resemble a toroidal structure with four levels. The facade of each of them will be decorated with green spaces.

At the top of the hotel is a funnel-shaped glass roof. The architects even found it to be similar to the waterfall of the Singapore airport. The glass funnel will also serve to collect water, which will later be used for the needs of the eco-hotel.

Internal occupancy of the premises - 152 rooms with balconies, 2 swimming pools, spas, saunas and gyms.
