Robot maker Boston Dynamics has shown how the company's products follow modern music trends. In a new dance video, the devices partnered with South Korean boy band BTS.

In the video, seven robots simultaneously perform dance steps to music. They move their limbs, swing, bend over. They catch the musical rhythm and follow it.

It is noted that the seven robots in terms of dance can compete with the boy group from South Korea. However, the latter is not very serious about such applications. The boys at BTS see this as an additional publicity stunt for their art.

The second joint video showed that the artists feel confident in the company of dancing robots. So it cannot be ruled out that in the future musicians will start to unite in their videos with various devices.

According to the developers, at first it was difficult for the robots to fulfill all the choreographic requirements of the dance directors. However, after all the movements were prescribed by the programmers, the robots were able to repeat the dance after people.

This is not the first dance experience of the Boston Dynamics droids. Several years ago they performed a dance, but to a relatively slow composition. In addition, the set of movements was not particularly difficult.

Of course, dancing robots are not easy to find today. But it is still possible to search for them on the OXO website. The section "Technique" contains models that can be programmed for the simplest dance actions.
