A Kiev woman creates fantastic cakes using mastic

Cakes of fantastic beauty are created by a self-taught pastry chef from Kiev Kristina Dolnik. Today, the queue for desserts for it needs to be taken in a year and a half.

In her works, the woman uses mastic, jelly bases and fillings. This helps her cakes look natural - the seabed with jellyfish, rocks with an iron throne, a huge lizard near skyscrapers, and more.

The creation of masterpieces began quite by accident. Christina Dolnik has never been involved in cooking or making confectionery. She hardly even cooked. She preferred to eat in a cafe or was interrupted by fast food. But after she got married, she had to learn to cook.

But the decisive factor was the wedding of sister Christina Dolnik, the organization of which was entrusted to the future pastry chef. And, if the girl coped with the toastmaster, dresses and other things without difficulty, then the cake caused certain difficulties. Christina Dolnik decided to try baking it herself.

The difficulty was that the future bride and groom were engaged in yachting and wished that the cake was also on this topic. Christina Dolnik had to dream up - to create waves, clear water, yachts. After much trial and error, she succeeded. It turned out to be a real masterpiece.

Today, Kristina Dolnik has several dozen works in her arsenal. The queue for her cakes lasts almost a year and a half. And among the customers there are well-known performers, media figures, politicians.
