Brutality and minimalism - studio apartment from Lauri Brothers

The apartment in an unusual vision of the loft style was created by the Ukrainian team Lauri Brothers. Brutality is intertwined with calmness and warmth.

The apartment was positioned as a place to relax after a hard day's work or meeting with friends. The customer of the loft space had a country house, so he considered the new housing as a transit point.

According to the project, the walls that separated the living room, bedroom and hallway were demolished. They were replaced with niche partitions imitating wardrobes. A small extension of the wall was also involved, which made it possible to hide part of the kitchen set. The rest of the space symbolized freedom and boundlessness.

The overall style was built on contrasting and connecting shades. The ceiling is neutral white with minimalist fixtures. However, at the junction of the living room and kitchen, a rough finish, wiring and overhead light begins. Designers have turned to the use of decorative plaster that resembles concrete in texture.

And to give the kitchen a masculine touch, they decided to use tall radiators and stone texture for the flooring. Also, this stylistic idea was transferred to the kitchen apron.

A nut was the connecting link in the project. They were allocated an area near the TV, at the head of the bed, kitchen shelves and bathroom cabinets. Natural wood has added solidity and some sophistication to the interior.
