French designer creates surreal retro collages

Surreal collages are always large objects, exaggerations, a challenge to society. French designer Guillaume Chiron creates them and publishes them on his social networks.

Many of the Frenchman's collages show giant people resting in the mountains and pastures. They act as world masters, vacuuming pastures, playing checkers in factories, studying military parades under a microscope.

Guillaume Chiron uses old magazines and photographs for his collages. He overlays clippings on pictures and real stories are obtained. Somewhere you have to increase the size of the image, somewhere to reduce it. The result is quite unusual, sometimes even frightening.

The designer has to use miniature scissors or scalpel. After all, the finished clippings should be very detailed. So that they can then be substituted for the finished picture, combined and glued.
