Ukrainian architectural studio PAINTIT has made renovations in one of the capital's apartments. The redevelopment affected the space with an area of 52 square meters.
The project was based on the concept of Suprematism, the implementation of bold ideas and a desire to please the customer. The latter limited the designers to the framework of their desires and a relatively small budget.
The authors of the project quickly decided on the idea. I wanted something unusual, colorful. At one point, a solution came with a bed "bounded" by a blue cube. It was complemented by a red kitchen, as well as a yellow magazine rack. Moreover, the latter was part of the "soft" space zoning the room.
At first, the designers wanted to separate the kitchen from the bedroom and living room with partitions. But after analyzing the available 52 "squares", they immediately refused. This would overload the room and make it visually dark. The best options were a cube-shaped bed, which provides a sleeping area.
At first, I wanted to create an openwork metal frame for the bedroom, but due to the limited budget, the designers purchased a ready-made bed and painted it blue.
When you decide on the color of the countertop, you opted for an artificial stone and its elements. The facades of the kitchen were painted to match this color.
A spacious wardrobe and individual pieces of furniture turned out to be quite functional. They even managed to hide all engineering communications behind them.
Of course, in the case of new housing, it is not easy to find furniture and interior items. Therefore, it is better to find a resource where this can be done as smoothly as possible - the section of the OXO website
"Home, interior".
