The Swedish solar PV company Soltech Energy has taken part in urban design. She was responsible for the renovation of a multi-storey parking lot in one of the cities.

The facade of the car park was decorated with solar panels with a total capacity of 60 kW. The generated energy of the installation is capable of providing "power" for up to 300 points of electric transport.

Bright photocells are installed in such a way as to ensure free air movement, which is important to ensure ventilation requirements and is necessary for the batteries themselves. This will cool them naturally.

The solar panels are mounted on a steel frame with cross-stacked modules. This ensures that there is free space for air. Frameless panels of different colors - blue, yellow, red, orange and green - were used as cladding.

As conceived by the developers, the modules were supposed to look like free-standing "pixels" and remind of the creativity of Swiss designers of the 20th century.

The thoughtfulness of the entire structure and its individual elements made it possible to mount a solar panel in just 1.5 months. And the precisely adjusted installation angles on the diagonal look like black stripes and are visible from afar. The latter add texture to the entire parking lot.

According to the director of the company, such a solar facade can be used on different buildings. Including those where ordinary walls are involved.

All that remains is to choose the appropriate mount. For example, in the section of the OXO website "Tools and equipment".
