The house from the van was made by Briton Daryl Lloyd Witt in just three months of quarantine. Now the converted Mercedes Sprinter has been bought out by a lottery company and put it up as a prize in the raffle.
A typical construction van houses a bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. There is no visual separation between these zones, and the interior looks like a single space.
High-tech was chosen as the main style. Severe laconic shapes and colors do not detract from the comfort in a small van. The emphasis was on metal, plastic and wood. Daryl Lloyd Witt managed to combine them successfully.
At the entrance to the Mercedes Sprinter, there is a bathroom, consisting of a shower stall and a small toilet. Everything is so compact that you can't even believe that this is a full-fledged part of the van.
Passing further, visitors to the mobile home enter the kitchen. Neat built-in furniture - wardrobes and shelves, washbasin, table with soft armchairs.
At the back of the Mercedes Sprinter is the bedroom. The bed for two is located on a raised platform from a series of drawers. The storage places in this case turned out to be quite functional. As for the bed, it's just a mattress laid out on a wooden backing.
The British master plans to build a new mobile home in the near future, but it will be larger and more functional than the previous one.
To equip such a space, it is necessary to think over the layout due to small furniture. For example, such as is displayed on the OXO website in the section
"House, interior".
