Apple plans to launch another iPhone. Probably, it will be released under the index 13 and will use satellites for communication.

The essence of the innovation for the new device will be to send messages and make calls without connecting to a cellular connection. This information is provided by the American media, referring to the analyst of the company.

Last year's launch of the device with index 12 was significant. It was equipped with support for 5G technology. In 2021, the iPhone developers decided to go even further - they plan to implement a communication mode with the use of a satellite. This means that Apple smartphone users can use the device even if they are not within cellular coverage.

According to analysts from Apple, the possibility of using satellite mode will appear in the future in many devices and accessories. A special chip that acts as a modem will be responsible for this.

However, some experts were critical of the information about the use of satellite communications in smartphones. Apple developed a similar project back in 2019, and it won't take a long time to implement it. Two years ago, it was reported that it would take about five years to create and test the technology.

Also, there may be a question about suppliers. Since satellite communication is not considered cheap, many users will not be able to afford it.

But I am glad that Apple products are available in other variations as well. For example, on the OXO website, among the existing active lots in the section "Apple Store", the company's products and accessories are presented.
