Glass vases of an unusual shape will be presented at the Milan Design Week by designer Ekaterina Krotenko. The event will take place from 5 to 10 September.

The creative designer and artist decided to use the glass technique that was popular in the 1960s for her products. At the exit, glass containers are obtained, vaguely resembling a charred tree. This applies to texture and color.

There are few color variations of the collection of decor items - black and white. However, a distinctive feature of the designer's vases is the corrugation, which is so pleasant to touch with your hands. Often rearrange, fill vessels with water, put flowers in them.

All products are handmade, so their number is limited. Such a product can be purchased only by pre-order or bought from the exhibition.

As Ekaterina Krotenko noted, during the creation of vases, she seems to lose touch with reality. Working with glass fascinates with its overflows, highlights, play of shadows.

As a rule, the designer takes about several days to make one vase. It all depends on the parameters of the product.

Some containers are accompanied by lids. These are wooden or plastic linings that prevent dust from entering the vase.

Glassware is very popular in modern interiors. It is enough to look at the section "Household goods" of the OXO website. There, active lots are updated daily - tableware, kitchen utensils, lighting fixtures, and more.
