Embroidery on leaves is a hobby of British needlewoman Hilary Walters. The woman uses the fallen gifts of nature, cleans the garden and decorates her home.

Multi-colored flowers appear on slightly dried leaves by the forces of the British woman. Lilies, chrysanthemums, asters are arranged in such a way that when combined into bouquets, they form whimsical compositions. In some cases, it can be geometry - circles, rhombuses, all kinds of weaves.

The material for such compositions is quite simple - dried leaves, which the British collects from her own yard. There are many fruit trees on her site, so there are no problems with embroidery canvases. All that remains is to collect and dry them in a certain way. Hilary Walters uses old silk thread she found in the attic. They, among other items, got her from her grandmother.

The hobby of the British woman is not at all burdensome financially. On the contrary, it can generate income if finished products are sold. But the Briton does not plan to do this.

To see the work of the craftswoman, you can visit her house. There are embroidered leaves, "hidden" under glass and hung on the walls. The picture gallery always evokes admiring glances from those present.

It's easy to do this hobby. Especially in autumn, when the leaves begin to fall. And you can buy the rest of the equipment and materials on the OXO website in the section "Accessories for sewing and needlework". There are exhibited brightly colored threads, scissors, various types of needles and more.
