Savio Firmino and Cosimo de Vita have created a collection of chairs inspired by world renowned constructions. The collaboration turned out to be quite significant.

In total, the collection of furniture includes 16 chairs, the backs of which are decorated with famous architectural monuments of Rome, Paris, Barcelona, Moscow and others. This is a kind of journey, embodied in reality by the efforts of wood craftsmen. Solid oak turned out to be very useful here.

As the authors of the collection themselves note, their chairs help to connect the West with the East, tradition with modernity. They are deeply convinced that craftsmanship must include knowledge of the past and new technologies. Find a balance between them, take into account national and cultural diversity. And dialogue is very important here.

The collaboration of the companies allowed not only to create unusual pieces of furniture, but to reorient in their sale. They want to be the first in their sector to use blockchain technology in production.

Literally, it is a continuous chain of blocks in which information about transactions is recorded. It can be either the sale of tulip bulbs or commercial real estate in large business centers. The data is stored on different media by independent users.

For Savio Firmino and Cosimo de Vita, the introduction of blockchain technology is an opportunity to combine manual labor, craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology.

The project of 16 chairs will be presented at a specialized exhibition in Milan.

You can also buy chairs of an unusual shape on the OXO website in the section "Home, interior".
