Toyota and Lego collaboration: brands put together a copy of the GR Supra from the construction set

Toyota and Lego have decided to join forces to celebrate the Supra anniversary. Brands have released a full-size copy of the car, created from the constructor.

The yellow supercar exactly duplicates its real prototype - weight, size, components and color. The weight of the car is 1885 kg, which is a quarter of a ton more than the weight of a Japanese sports car.

Some of the components were borrowed from the original car - wheels, pedals, steering wheel, dashboard and driver's seat. All other parts are constructed from Lego bricks.

To set the designed supercar in motion, the developers installed an electric motor in the copy of the car, so a traction battery had to be placed under the hood. This allowed the car to accelerate to 28 km / h. As for the brakes, you should not rely on them especially, because they are assembled from the designer.

The collaboration of two well-known brands is not the first experience in creating copies of vehicles. Previously, Lego created other cars that duplicated the original cars.

This is not the only promotional event that was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the sports car. The Japanese manufacturer has released a limited edition of 35 cars that will be drawn in a lottery.
