Fish Pond Illusion: Vietnamese Creates Amazing Coffee Tables

The coffee tables, reminiscent of ponds with colorful fish, are created by Vietnamese resident Ti Ay. Outwardly, the master's works look like real reservoirs.

Each Vietnamese table consists of a wooden base and an epoxy-coated top. At the same time, the shapes of furniture are very different - oval, round, rectangular.

First, the master selects the basis for the future table. This is usually a local tree. Unused parts are often left in the furniture industry, so they are easily sold to Ti Ay. After creating the desired size, the Vietnamese moves on to carving and sanding the wood.

The next step is to pour in the epoxy and place the decorative elements in it. The resin is poured in stages. After the first pouring, Ti Ay places plastic algae and colorful fish on the bottom. The rest of the countertop is then formed layer by layer.

Each layer of resin must dry. Otherwise, the master will either have to overlap the tabletop again, or grind the top of the table for a long time.

Epoxy coating allows for depth effect, and decorative elements further contribute to this.
