The novelty was positioned as an auxiliary device for virtual and augmented reality. The shape of the innovative accessory is reminiscent of standard glasses with lenses and frames in black.

Additionally, Mark Zuckerberg and Andrew Bosworth launched a teaser for the glasses on their social networks. The first one sailed on a boat, and the second one played golf. Probably, in this way they hinted at the possibility of using glasses in relation to different scenarios.
