Designer Virgil Abloh introduced the world to the first line of furniture, which he designed specifically for Galerie Kreo, a famous Parisian gallery. To create a collection of concrete variations, the designer will be inspired by street art culture and street wall paintings.
The sphere of subject design is what the author's attention is focused on at the moment. More recently, Virgil surprised the audience with his collaboration with the Vitra trademark. The master designed a furniture collection for the company, which became a hit last fall.
It was after this that the Kreo gallery made the designer an offer, which he could not refuse.
Galerie Kreo is known for specializing in contemporary design and collectible items. Abloh has developed for the customer a unique capsule furniture that meets all modern trends.
The collection is represented by 20 items. These are tables and chairs, vases and mirrors, consoles and cabinets, and much more. All specimens with a concrete surface are decorated with graffiti. The artist did the painting by hand.
All models are made in a laconic style. Minimalism emphasizes the aggressive nature of concrete and shows how the material can interact with other objects in the interior.
The collection was named Efflorescence. Its main highlight was a three-meter bench, which in its shape is similar to a ramp from a skate park. Mirror 1 is no less impressive. It is a glass plate with internal holes. The armchairs of the collection resemble a cube.
Original furniture will delight its owners and attract the attention of guests. You can buy one on our website in the section
