The artists Alexei Lyapunov and Lena Earley, who created the creative duet, use old music books in their work. Vivid stories emerge on each sheet.

Drawings by Alexey and Elena are separate compositions in which the notes take an active part. They act as elements of urban or suburban landscapes, turn into steps of architectural landmarks. Sometimes they even become tree crowns or mountain tops.

Each drawing has a complex storyline. The artists draw in detail each element of the composition. The many details that arise in music books are very exciting to look at.

The colorful scenes of each story are scenes from the everyday life of people. Anyone who is at work or at home would plunge into such stories. Picnics, travel, fishing, training at the stadium or in the gym.

Sometimes it seems that each part of the staff is a separate story. But when the artists finish painting it in full, a complete drawing is obtained. A story with a beginning, middle and end.

Alexey and Elena began to engage in such creativity several years ago. At first, these were separate sheets of music. Then the creative couple moved on to create entire albums.

If desired, music lessons can acquire such a rather unusual character. And for those who like the classical use of sheet music, OXO has a section Musical Instruments. There you can buy guitars, accordions, violins, castanets and more.
