Famous Italian brands Versace and Venini have released a joint collection of glass vases. The collaboration was held in honor of the 100th anniversary of the latter's activity.
The line is represented by three glass vases made in different techniques. Each of them is an example of the "cooperation" of the historical past in the creation of Murano glass and modern methods of processing it.
The shape of the vase is conical, cylindrical and classic with a narrowed neck.
For each piece of decor, a different manufacturing technique was chosen. For the first, the procedure is blowing until a checker-like pattern is obtained. For the second - mixing of multi-colored stripes on the surface of the vase. For the third, a combination of the first and second techniques.
Murano glass manufacturing technologies are reduced to the use of special tubes with a mouthpiece for blowing and taking glass. When creating products, decorative elements can be added - to the glass mass or to an already finished product.
Each vase of Italian brands is adorned with the signature Versace and Venini logos. It is located in the center of the product, pointing to the front of the vase.
The result of the joint work of the brands can be seen at the end of this month as part of Milan Fashion Week. As for the purchase of the limited edition, the organizers have not provided any information yet. At the moment, these are just exhibits.
Vases that vaguely resemble those created by the masters of Versace and Venini can be found in the OXO website section
