The Chinese corporation Xiaomi has presented a new gadget - smart glasses with the ability to answer calls, translate texts and take photos. At the moment, this is only a concept, not a real device.

Visually, the gadget should look like regular glasses. However, the plastic frame will have lenses with backlit monochrome displays. The brightness of the latter can reach 2 million nits.

One of the main features of the gadget is displaying notifications about calls and messages that come to the user's smartphone. They appear right before your eyes. It will also be possible to translate small texts and take photos in real time.

To interact with such functionality, about 500 components are built into the glasses, including sensors and modules for communication. Calls and interactions with voice assistants will be carried out through dual microphones with speakers and a camera near the temples.

It is planned to use Android as the operating system. The technical part of the device will be complemented by a quad-core processor, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

As for the timing of sales, presentation, as well as more detailed information about the gadget, the company did not provide data. Experts speculate that such smart glasses may only be produced within China.

For all its auxiliaries, Xiaomi does not consider future glasses to be an additional device for a smartphone.
