The Dutch company IKEA has introduced a 5W wireless charger. The novelty is almost invisible on furniture.

The portable battery is designed to charge phones. It is discreetly attached to the bottom of the furniture. And, as soon as you put the phone on the table in a certain place, its battery will start charging.

Manufacturers note that invisible wireless charging can be used not only on the table that comes with the set. It is suitable for any type of furniture made of wood, plastic or glass. The main thing is that the thickness of the table top does not exceed 22 cm.

The only thing is that the phone charging procedure will not be carried out if the tabletop is made of metal.

The set comes with double-sided tape, on which the charger is attached. It is located under the base of the countertop and by its presence does not create any inconvenience to the owners of the furniture.

The start of charging sales will begin in October. First, it will be sold in the United States, and then relocated to European markets.

There is no information regarding the price of wireless charging.

In the meantime, users are waiting for the start of sales of an invisible device, it remains to use visible models. They can be purchased on the OXO website in the section "Phones, smartphones". Among more than 1,500 lots, you can find chargers not only for smartphones, but also for headphones, watches, trackers and more.
