The Scandinavian airline Ocean Sky has presented a project of an airship, which is equipped with a special mixture of non-combustible gases. The first flight is scheduled for 2024 to the North Pole.

The design of the aircraft will be reminiscent of the airships of the past. However, a mixture of gases will be used as a filler, which are much cheaper than helium and more environmentally friendly.

Each unit is planned to be equipped with eight double cabins with panoramic windows, bedrooms, bathrooms and dressing rooms. Passengers will be able to use the rooms of increased comfort with a laconic interior.

On the territory of the main deck there will be a specially glazed floor that will allow passengers to enjoy the views while traveling.

Ocean Sky has been looking for ways to reduce exhaust gas emissions for many years. With its recent discovery, the company plans to revolutionize the aviation industry.

The advantages of airships are the absence of platforms and ports for docking or landing, as is the case with other aircraft. Their designs make it possible to deliver people and goods even to the most remote parts of the planet. And with the new opportunities announced by the Scandinavian companies, it all seems limitless.

Previously, only science fiction writers could write about flights on airships. These aircraft seemed to be giants that plow the air. Today, such memories remain only in books, many of which can be purchased in the "Literature" section.
