A Portuguese artist named Arthur Bordalo creates striking installations from garbage on the streets of metropolitan areas. Such art is a special way to draw public attention to environmental pollution issues. The concept of the craftsman's work is to create large-scale creations depicting representatives of the natural world from garbage collected not in landfills.

“My mission is to raise awareness of the consequences of uncontrolled resource consumption. People should know that we are depleting the world in which we live. ”, - said Arthur.

Bordalo's creations, filled with energy and movement, harmoniously blend into urban landscapes. Pelicans, foxes, insects and fish made from car parts are transforming city streets and making people think about important things.

The artist begins creating installations with the preparation of a sketch. Then the craftsman searches for the necessary material in landfills, garbage cans and in abandoned buildings. After forming the frame of the future composition, Arthur proceeds to work out its individual elements. The final stage of the work is painting the sculptures with paints from aerosol cans. As a result of painstaking work, Bordalo's creations acquire fantastic realism.

Through his sculptures, the artist demonstrates that even waste can become masterpieces of art. What is rubbish for one person will be a beautiful painting or sculpture for another. But in addition to aesthetics, the author's creations inspire people to respect the environment.
