The designers of the Polish studio WAMHOUSE presented an armchair resembling a half-open banana. There is a reference to environmental protection here.

The piece of furniture is a high chair with comfortable armrests and a backrest. The rigid wood frame is cushioned by a springy and breathable filler. Matting and suede are used as upholstery.

The combination of radically opposite materials balances the construction of the piece of furniture. This is additionally visualized by the chair geometry.

The banana chair will fit most modern layouts. This piece of furniture will be a good element in a library, living room, nursery. You can even beat him in the kitchen.

The main thing is not to forget that such an attribute of the interior should be accentuated. Such an armchair should not be overloaded with additional decor in the form of pillows, rugs or blankets. A banana chair will look great with a white floor lamp or glass coffee table.

The authors of the project note that they used the banana for a reason. With their chair, they wanted to draw attention to the rational use of natural materials. In particular wood.

After all, a competent attitude to recycling can significantly improve the environmental situation in the world. They chose the banana as a symbol of respect for natural resources.

You can choose an armchair for your interior, including a fancy shape, on the OXO website in the subsection Furniture and Interior.
