Apple collector Cable Sasser has posted a photo of a prototype of the first iPod music player.

The device, in a yellow plastic case, was equipped with four control buttons and a scroll wheel for scrolling music. There is also a one-color display and all the connectors that are in the original device.

The photograph, which was exhibited by the collector, was later commented on by Tonny Fadel, who was once responsible for the creation of such music players. An employee of the company noted that the device was assembled "hastily". A month before the actual exhibit was presented.
