Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared some important news. Now his company will be called Meta.

The traditional capital letter "F" in blue is replaced by a mathematical one - a blue Mobius strip. The latter is considered one of the most famous mathematical symbols.

A new logo was presented at the presentation. As the head of the company explained, now it will represent a special world in which people live and communicate. A key role for Meta will be to help in interactions between users - messaging, doing business, purchasing groceries and non-food items.

Along the way, the head of Facebook noted that social networks - Facebook, Instagram, as well as the WhatsApp messenger will not change their name. But from now on, they will be united by a common vision, which will be interpreted by the metaverse.

Not all users shared Zuckerberg's desire to change the company's name. Many spoke out very negatively. We compared the renaming of Facebook with the script for the series "Office". In the story, a paper trading company has created its own system with the Mobius strip logo to revitalize its activities.

It is not yet possible to say unequivocally whether the renaming will benefit the company or not. Time will show. But the decisiveness of its head is life-affirming.

However, in order to use the products - social networks Facebook, Instagram, as well as the WhatsApp messenger, appropriate technical devices are needed. You can find them on the OXO website in the section "PCs, laptops, tablets, office equipment".
