The furniture collection, which resembles flexible panels, was designed by a pair of creative designers Kino and Elsa Guerin. From the outside it seems that the shelves, tables and benches are made of twisted birch bark.

The product line was made up of various types of shelves, tables and benches.

Furniture items look quite unusual due to a non-standard approach to the combination of materials. The designers have combined different types of wood with plywood. This gave the ready-made "sheets" flexibility.

The procedure for creating a bench or shelf begins with a sketch. Elsa Guerin draws a draft of the future piece of furniture on paper. Then, with the help of her husband, he transports him to the surface of the tree.

Previously, designers glue several layers of different wood with a plywood layer. The resulting material is quite flexible, so Kino and Elsa Guerin bend it, twist it and straighten it in different directions.

All that is created by nature serves as inspiration for designers. These can be snowdrifts, tree bark, or sea waves. Elsa and Kino Guerin call this natural geometry.

Designers have been attracted all their lives by the opportunity to enjoy the views of the seas, forests and mountains. Their occupancy. Therefore, they decided to translate this into a furniture collection.

In the near future, the creative couple plans to continue their work on flexible pieces of furniture.

However, if you wish, you can use the traditional models of shelves, tables and benches presented on the OXO website in the section "Home, interior".
