Swiss carmaker Volvo has tested an artificial intelligence loader. The vehicle was created on the basis of a Lego model.

The loader is a standard sized truck with a bucket on one side and a counterweight on the other. To start working, the device only needs to lower the counterweight: this allows the loader to lift a load of up to five tons.

A large one and a half cubic meter bucket is capable of transporting not only building materials and garbage, but also food items.

The device is capable of accelerating to 38 km / h and working on a single charge for up to eight hours.

The presented loader is a prototype of a cargo construction equipment, which was created on the basis of the Lego construction set. In 2016, the company introduced a model of construction equipment from the Lego Technic series. The Swedish carmaker became the first company to use a toy as the basis for real technology.

Artificial Intelligence Management has helped construction and truck vehicles to simplify management issues. The lack of space for the driver allowed for the optimization of the loader design.

At the moment, the tested device is only a prototype. And the decision on its mass release is under discussion. The automaker is likely to release a limited number of such trucks.

If there is a need to repair trucks or cars, then this issue can be resolved by the OXO website and the section "Auto, Moto". There, active lots are updated daily, the total number of which is currently about 2.6 thousand.
