Zenuity (a joint project between Volvo and Veoneer) will test Autonomous vehicles on public roads in Sweden. The experiment involved a road between the cities of Stockholm, Malmo, Jonkoping and Geterborg. The speed of movement of cars will not exceed 80 km/h.

The company will be obliged to put a person in the driver's seat. The passenger does not need to touch the steering wheel, the system will drive the vehicle using the training program. The appearance of such machines on the market is not worth waiting, Zenuity only collects information about the capabilities of the systems used.

As for Volvo, the company is actively developing in this direction. Already in 2021 it is planned to start sales of Autonomous models.
