The Offecct brand from Switzerland is known for its unusual acoustic panels, partitions and screens, which not only have sound insulation characteristics, but also effectively zone the room. Italian architect Andrea Ruggiero worked on the creation of one of the fresh brand lines, called Soundsticks.

The collection is represented by a range of colored cylinder-shaped pendant elements. Initially, Andrea planned to use recyclable materials in the form of unnecessary cardboard tubes as a material. But in the process of work it turned out that this idea could not be realized in life.

It turned out that the cardboard panels weigh too much, and the sound absorption is very weak. Therefore, the designer abandoned the original idea. And he created cylinders from felt, which absorbs sound as much as possible. At the bottom, the author has covered the structure with fabric upholstery. The method of making felt is also non-standard. It is based on shredded plastic and pieces of textile scraps.

Offecct prides itself on the fact that its products are made with the environment in mind. Acoustic panels from Andrea Ruggiero are not only functional, but also a stylish solution that will add zest to the interior.
