Nvidia has announced its commitment to improve the modern world with the innovative Omniverse Avatar project. Namely, to "populate" virtual "messengers" into reality. The developed platform is equipped with such functions as speech recognition using artificial intelligence, three-dimensional modeling and computer vision.

Using a unique technology, you can create avatars that will identify people, carry out dialogues with them and execute commands. 3-d heroes adapt to the industry and become assistants in everyday things. For example, they will advise a client on important issues, conduct an interview, accept an order as a waiter, etc.

In the presentation of the project, CEO Jen-Hsun Huang showed off a mini-copy of himself. Jensen's avatar spoke to the guests in attendance about advances in the world of science. Thanks to the Megatron 530B algorithm, the virtual character is able to recognize the facial expressions of the interlocutor.

In addition, for the most advanced capabilities, Omniverse Avatar is equipped with Project Maxine, which supports high-speed audio and video functions in the application for the purpose of effective virtual interaction. For example, during a video call of one of the participants in the Omniverse project, Avatar changed her appearance in accordance with the theme of the meeting from relaxed to business (hair and clothes). He also translated his speech into 3 other languages, but did not change his voice.

According to representatives of Nvidia, they do not seek to make the real life of people virtual. On the contrary, the company wants to fill the real world with digital residents to make life a little easier for people.
