The American company Nvidia plans to create a supercomputer that will help predict climate change.

Visually, this will be a model of the planet, in which neural networks are involved. Scientists will also complement their supercomputer with the ability to perform fast computational operations and deep learning.

The device that signals climate change will be located in the vastness of the Nvidia metaverse. This technology will be similar to what is working in the health care field in the UK.

The company's CEO noted that the Earth is constantly warming up from the Sun. And in the last 7 years, this heating has reached critical levels, which influenced the changes in the planet's climate.

The thoughtless activity of mankind also contributed to this - the temperature increased by 1.1 degrees between 1850 and 1900.

Many cataclysms have recently become the norm. And we need to fight these disasters right now, because in some 5-10 years it will be too late.

Unlike weather forecasts, climate models are based on decades of simulation. It takes into account not only the peculiarities of the atmosphere, but also the indicators of desalination, ice melting, migration of birds and animals, and human activities.

Using Nvidia's Earth Model, scientists will be able to predict and monitor possible climate changes.

And to study the climate at home, you can use the technical devices from the section "PCs, laptops, tablets, office equipment".
