During the day - waves, at night - mountains: an amazing residential complex in Denmark

The luxury residential complex is located in Vejle - a cozy port town in Denmark. The construction of "Wave" began back in 2006. When the 2 towers were constructed, construction had to be temporarily suspended due to the financial crisis (2008). The work was resumed only after 7 years. But now the inhabitants of the Jutland peninsula are enjoying the original structure.

The project by the Henning Larsen Arhitects studio has received several awards in the light of architecture and has become an important landmark of the city. The building's design is inspired by the hilly landscape characteristic of the area.

The complex, built on the Vjelli Fjord, consists of 5 undulating lifts. Thanks to the stylistics, the object acts as a kind of mediator between the city and wildlife. In the daytime, the waves of the complex are gently reflected on the water surface. At night, the project turns into illuminated mountains.

14 thousand sq. m. is the total area of ​​Wave. The nine-story towers house 100 residential apartments. The upper floors of the towers contain two-story penthouses.

To create the illusion of a wavy volume, the builders used a white ventilation facade. Balconies and a canopy are made of the same material. Every resident has access to water thanks to the pier. The inner courtyard of the residential complex is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable pastime.
