Australian design studio Heliograf has revamped traditional lighting fixtures with recycled ocean plastic.

Up to 75% recycled polypropylene was used to create the updated lamp. However, designers strive for this figure to reach 100%.

The updated lamps can be used as pendant and table lighting fixtures. They are easy to operate, easy to clean, and safe.

Each lamp is shaped like a fish. So Australian designers wanted to emphasize the connection with the oceans and seas. And the use of recycled plastic in this matter has emphasized the environmental component.

Previously, Heliograf and other companies had access to low quality recycled plastics. Now they can enjoy certified products. It is safer and more practical - non-toxic, easy to assemble, clean and easy to use.

Environmental issues are of paramount importance today. This is especially true of the pollution of the world's oceans with plastic waste. According to ecologists, if the pollution continues at such a rate, then most species of animals and birds will disappear forever.

And about the catastrophic impact on the ocean waters is not even mentioned. This is a self-evident fact.

You can find a safe and stylish lighting device on the OXO website in the Lighting subsection. There are various models of table lamps, floor lamps, sconces, chandeliers and accessories for them.
