Paper locks are a hobby of the architect Camilla Ortoli, who lives and works in Paris. In her projects, she dispenses with traditional building materials. But that doesn't stop her creations from looking great.

The works of the Parisian are recognizable. They trace the spirit of past eras with generally accepted decorative elements that immediately make it possible to understand what kind of time and place it is.

Another paper installation by Camilla Ortoli is inspired by the legacy of Baron Haussmann. He is often referred to as the creator of the architectural style that prevailed in France in the 19th century.

Through careful detailing, the architect manages to create recognizable elements. When studying the finished paper structures that the Parisian "erected", elements of the stylistics of the past are recognized: broken roofs, stucco moldings, twisted lattices.

It takes Camilla Ortoli about a month to work on one project. As a rule, this is an entire street in size. Sometimes houses even reach the height of their author in terms of their height. It happened that the girl could not immediately find a way out of her paper world.

Camilla Ortoli has been involved in paper architecture for over six years. During this time, she began to carry out private orders to decorate interiors. Has held several solo exhibitions. And systematically publishes photos of finished works on social networks.

Important in the work of masters who work with paper is the selection of materials and tools. Cardboard, scissors, stationery knives and scalpels help you get through routine tasks faster. You can find the appropriate devices for creativity in the subsection Stationery.
