The student managed to deliver a male and a female to Bangalore, which he believed belonged to the class of ordinary oligodons.
After lengthy research - conducting DNA analysis, counting scales, examining the shape of the skull, a conclusion was made. Found individuals are a completely new species of snakes. In the name of the traditional oligodon, the place of discovery was added - the Chura valley.
