Tokyo-based architecture firm Kengo Kuma & Associates has designed a laconic and natural interior for a local hotel. The idea contains a reference to Japanese traditions.
Conventionally, the interiors of the hotel can be divided into three categories. The first traces the architecture of Buddhist temples. In the second - the connection with the minerals traditional for Japan. And the third one refers to the glamorous Hollywood aesthetics with a bit of Japanese history.
The focal point and core of the hotel is the lobby, which in its layout and decor is reminiscent of Buddhist temples. The emphasis is on richness and brevity.
Guest areas - bars, restaurants, dance floors are made in accordance with the most popular minerals for the land of the rising sun. Sapphire and jade are used in decoration, furniture, decor items.
Some locations are inspired by Hollywood in the early 20th century. Glamor and chic. The suites are finished with sapphire and topaz plates.
The garden terrace deserves special attention, the official opening of which is scheduled for early 2022. More than 25 varieties of plants will be presented there. As conceived by the architects, this place will be able to transfer hotel guests from hectic urban everyday life to a paradise oasis.
The atmosphere of Japan with its laconicism and richness can be duplicated in your home. It is enough to choose the appropriate furniture and decor items. An assistant in this will be the OXO website and its section
"House, interior".
