Australian scientists have launched a project to install a recorder, which they plan to place on the Tasmanian island. It will be a kind of time capsule in case of the end of the world.

The device is a steel box of irregular shape, the walls of which are about 7.5 cm. The sources of energy for the recorder will be electric current or solar panels. Data storage devices will be located inside.

The purpose of the recorder is to record information from recent decades. These data will help future civilizations "tell" how people lived before the global catastrophe. The collected data will include the average temperature of water and air, the oxidation of water bodies, the level of carbon dioxide.

Also, the recorder will be able to transmit data on the species of animals and birds, plants, population, military conflicts and technological developments.

To improve awareness, it is planned to use thesis information in the context of news about the most significant events of recent decades.

According to one of the authors of the project, this indestructible device will help future generations to draw the right conclusions. And in the future to prevent such disasters.

Already, information about the key events of the past ten years is being recorded on hard disks. Among them is the UN Climate Conference held in 2021.

To assemble such a recorder requires appropriate technical training. As well as devices that facilitate the search, systematization and storage of data. You can find such devices on the OXO website in the section "Technics".
