Mountaineering is an exciting hobby. But in addition to admiration for the beauty of the mountains, this hobby can also bring a good income. So lucky was the French climber who found a treasure in the mountains in 2013.

The authorities of the city of Chamonix decided to encourage a man who discovered a box of rubies, emeralds and sapphires on Mont Blanc. The total weight of the treasure was 140 grams. It was decided to reward the climber with half of what he found.

The jewelry was in a tin box that allegedly fell out of the plane. The liner crashed in the 1950s-1960s.

During his next excursion into the mountains, the Frenchman decided to explore the familiar slopes in more detail. He took an unusual route and his experiment bore fruit. Although the road was not easy.

The climber received a reward equivalent to half of the jewelry sold. The result is quite an impressive amount, the exact parameters of which have not been announced.

It happened that climbers often found various valuable items during their sorties. These were the traces of expeditions, and the wreckage of aircraft. In some situations, it was mountain conquerors who helped make scientific discoveries.

Mountaineering is a sport that is very attractive in itself. It helps to develop not only endurance, strength and speed of reaction. But it also contributes to the formation of moral and volitional qualities.

If there is no clear definition of a hobby yet, then you should pay attention to the OXO website and its section "Sports, recreation, leisure, tourism, fishing".
