Japanese shipbuilder PowerX is preparing a project to create a tanker that can transport electricity.

The new vessel resembles a trimaran in its design features, only its dimensions will differ significantly from the standard ones. The three-hull ship will look like a tanker.

The giant ship's main function is to transport electricity from offshore wind farms. Special structures installed on the ship will collect and store wind energy. Then deliver it to households. There, due to the energy received, the production process will continue.

Many call the plans of the Japanese company far-reaching. The construction of such a tanker, which not only transports, but also recharges with energy, is fantastic. But not for PowerX. And what is remarkable, the end of the project is scheduled for 2025-2030.

To many, this may seem like an unnecessary undertaking. But not fighters for the rational use of natural resources. Over the past 10 years, many companies have partially or completely reoriented to biodegradable materials, secondary resource bases and alternative energy sources. PowerX is one of them.

Details of the project have not yet been disclosed. Only the timing and nuances of the proposed appearance of the ship are known.

The preparation of such structures is impossible without the appropriate industrial equipment. In the eponymous section of the OXO site, you can find devices for solving local production problems.
